King Arthur Bread Baking

* On Wednesday, March 7th, the 6th and 7th grade attended an assembly by King Arthur in which they heard about how to make bread. Each student went home with a kit and was encouraged to make 1 loaf for his/her family and an additional loaf to bring back to school (to be donated)

In total there were 155 loaves of bread donated to elderly citizens of Somersworth! Thanks to all for taking the time to bake and help out the community!

FAMILY GAME NIGHT!

Family Game Night was a success!!

*Hosted by Title 1 and SYC on February 16th – parents and students came together to enjoy a few hours of family games together. Each student went home with a new book at the end of the night.

Julie Hahnke visited SMS on Wednesday, January 25th. She spoke to all grade levels and shared her passions as a writer with students. Julie was also able to host small writer’s workshops for classes. It was a great success!

Conkerr Cancer Pillow Case Project!

7th grade made nearly 100 pillowcases to donate to kids with cancer and other serious diseases.
